The Hungarian national team will play its last preparation match before the summer European football championship against Israel, instead of Malta, as planned originally.
The Hungarian Football Association (MLSZ) published on their X social media channel on Monday that the match scheduled for June 8 is planned to take place in Debrecen. The Israelis will play an alternate qualifier in March, where it will be decided whether they will qualify for the continental competition in Germany.
It was already announced that the crew of national team captain Marco Rossi will host Turkey in the Puskás Arena on March 22, and four days later the opponent will be the Kosovo national team, also at home.
The Hungarian team will then play against Ireland in Dublin on June 4, after which the last preparation match against Israel may follow.
In addition to the Scots and the Swiss, Hungary will meet the hosts Germany in the group stage at the European Championship starting on June 14. (Hungarian News Agency - MTI)
